I'm impressed that you made it here. I don't know why you removed your Viztec gear, and I'm not going to ask. I'm glad you did. There are not a lot of people who are brave enough to disconnect from the system. Fear keeps the others controlled.

They're afraid of dissolution and who can blame them. I've seen the footage too, and it is not like they're bluffing. The machines will come for you; they lack the possession of a real soul and therefore any kind of empathy or mercy.

The screens are hard on your eyes, but it's been a bit so you're probably adjusting to the natural light by now.

The Astral Pulse is a hell of a thing. It's not like the machines don't know where we've gone, but we are somewhere that they cannot exist. If they enter the pulse they're immediately nullified. Magnets. But a gravity gate made of endless speakers did the trick.

Heh.

It's far from peaceful it's the gateway between a Hell world and an entire universe just begging to be explored. It serves two purposes - The gate provides both security and a place to celebrate freedom.

I have a gift for you. Consider it like - I don't know - a birthday gift of sorts. I know exactly how uncomfortable everything feels without the Viztec. I've replicated the interface of the Machinaverse, but ya know - without the world. You're just going to have to get used to how vivid and immense reality is, but this should make it feel a little more familiar.

What are they called? Maaaan don't ask me that I'm a Hacktech not an artist. Freedom glasses? pstpstpst!!! Call them whatever you want to call them. I don't care. They're yours now. They might be a little buggy though still since they're only the 5th prototype.

Augmented Reality is a hell of a trip. Lose yourself in the astral-pulse for a while. Nothing will help you acclimate to AR faster than joining the celebration.

Enjoy it. Once we leave this place we're gone. The gravity gate exit is one way only; so seize this moment.
